Pre-Fab Home/Studio
Capay Valley, California. Three conceptual home/studios.
This conceptual project investigates standardization and repetition. The same basic pre-fabricated (Butler Systems) steel structural components are assembled into three different configurations, according to site: hillside, river, and meadow. Taking advantage of the isolation of these sites, the primary walls of the projects pivot fully open to the landscape.
